Meet Melody Herzfeld
Since 2003, Melody Herzfeld has led the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Drama Department, directing more than 50 productions and guiding students to earn recognition at state and national levels.
In 2018, she was honored with the Excellence in Theatre Education Tony Award, celebrating her lasting impact as an educator and mentor. Her leadership emphasizes not only artistic excellence but also the power of theatre to build confidence, resilience, and community.
Melody's unwavering commitment continues to inspire both students and parents alike. Her leadership not only cultivates talent but also fosters a sense of community and purpose within the MSD Drama family.
